Iron
Always include iron containing foods in the diet most especially women. Women who are of child bearing age experience menstrual periods which involves loss of blood. Iron intake should be taken 18g for a pre-mentrual woman and 27g for a pregnant woman. Iron can be obtained from foods like meat, shellfish, beans and other enriched (fortified) foods with iron.
